They have Pert Mint and the logo as well as "WA"

I would have thought that is enough?

    Why aren"t these bars stamped?

It's an over-sight by The Perth Mint; if they had to change the "Stamping" they'd have to go through a mountain of paper-work, (LBMA) both hard copy and electronically to alter / add the words "Gold" or "Silver".

Do you think the management would do that? :)

Perhaps when the silver bullion bars go 9999 (Four Nines) they may take the initiative to include "Silver". There's no hope for the "Gold". :(

I would have thought the LBMA regulations would require the bar to be stamped with the "Ag" or "Gold".

I've got a 1kg Perth mint gold coin that says it's gold, but it's actually plastic. So how can we be certain it's not 1oz of silver, with gold plating? I reckon they've made a mistake.
