Is anyone else getting the message that they are not available in your region?

Region I am in is Australia, so that's weird.

I've noticed Ainslee haven't had 10oz or kilo bars recently either..

Maybe due to high demand with the 25% off sale? (which came into effect right after I purchased 15 kilos)

It's definitely demand; I've been watching different silver products go in and out of stock over the last couple of weeks.

When I went and checked out other dealers, similar case. I'm considering having to spring for 500g or 1kg bars.

Actually 10oz, 1kg and 100oz Perth Mint silver bars are unavailable for order by dealers at the moment - sold out while awaiting new stock from the refinery.

I had the same problem with that "not available in your region" message a couple of weeks ago. I was browsing ebay global or uk, can't remember which, but I think that the Perth Mint site was reading that I was accessing the site from an overseas computer. Maybe something to do with cookies etc. Anyway, made sure I had logged out of ebay, closed down my web browser, opened it up again and hey presto, PM site was fine.

I would not look into it to much, just pm struggling to keep up with demand as they were under prepared, same as the last big dip, when prices rise back to 40 it will settle down.

Big demand, it is pretty tight all round trying to meet it with our silver bar production capacity, you buggers won't stop buying.

Wasnt the bar production capacity significantly increased recently though?

Causing the delays earlier on this year.

Sorry for my off topic post. but I do not want to open a new thread for this.

Most of members here are in Australia, I have a question hope any of you could answer me, is that true Australia bans mailing in Silver and gold coin? This is what posted on U.S. Postal Office web site:

    "Prohibitions (130)

Coins; bank notes; currency notes (paper money); securities of any kind payable to bearer; traveler's checks; platinum, gold, and silver (except for jewelry items meeting the requirement in "Restrictions" below); precious stones (except when contained in jewelry items meeting the requirement in "Restrictions" below); and other valuable articles are prohibited.
    ..."

    Thanks for the help!

Actually I think Andy might be on the money with the cookies thing. The reason I say this is because I have checked the same website for weeks now, this only happened today, unlike what you guys are sayign about not being available for a while now.

I'll give them a call tomorrow and let you know what they say.

Also, unlike one of the posters said, the 100oz are still available.

Please oh please be a computer error!! I don't know why people want silver to sky rocket - as if you wouldn't want to obtain as much as you can now before it skyrockets. Yes I'm a permabug or whatever they are called. Also known as realist hehe

    Thanks for the replies guys

hm, well I went to the p.m. to buy a 10oz bar last friday and they were fresh out, but sold me one anyway. Said they would call me up when there were some in stock so I could pick it up. Haven't been called yet and its a week later!

I may just keep doing that. Eventually they'll have some and I can pick up when they do. Its nice being local to the mint.

Dealers definitely having issues ordering 10 oz bars but might be only temporary.
