I notice Bullion Bourse has both plain back and kangaroo back Perth Mint 10g bars advertised, with the plain back being slightly cheaper.

I haven't seen anyone else that sells these plain back versions, are they simply an older style or something??

Is it really worth paying the extra $4 per bar for the Kangaroo style, or just go for the cheaper plain back versions?

We have some plain back 10g bars left too.

    They are simply older stock.

The mint were selling them to wholesalers $4 cheaper per bar (or thereabouts) to quit the older stock. BB is just passing on the savings.

We do the same, but we just haven't got them listed separately. If you're droping by, it doesn't hurt to ask if there are any clearance specials.

    Ck.
