Buy from btc-e. Lots for sale. Reason I like FTC is that it is a direct clone of LTC, which is popular but supply is not enough... while FTC is 4x the quantity, could add 4x the quantity. But price ratio now is at 40x.... This makes me smile.
Yeah I agree it has something going on, Simply by the walls holding it to it's current price, they go both ways on every point. Someone is trying to keep the price stable, Kinda reminds me of Silver actually =)
Well BTC seems to be held back a little with all the new fiat hitting the ALT-Coins now. Interesting to see how this eventuates.
I swapped my LTC into BTC at like 0.014 thinking that was good - and it was. But this price hike has come out of nowhere :\

Litecoin hit above 21 $. Last night I woke up from a nightmare and checked my smartphone app, it was above 22 $! That's another nightmare, because I still couldn't get a single coin. They are "verifying" my account. Damn, I hoped they'd be done by this week!
