This article was acknowledged in a post by some of the more knowledgeable/ experienced members at CCF. I agree with what they said as well and that is PCGS is just now getting more familiar with Modern Chinese Coins whereas NGC has been engaged for much longer and therefore much more experienced in grading modern Chinese coins. That is one possible reason why PCGS has not had the grading consistency with Chinese coins.

Also it was very cool to see Mr. Peter Anthony's panda book mentioned in this PCGS article and how they gave him recognition as to the relevance of his book. In my opinion anyone collecting pandas should spend $42 on this book it is worth every penny if you are buying pandas. I have two copies ... one at my desk at work and one at home :D

Lastly it was totally awesome to see that PCGS also recognized those guys at CCF for all of their knowledge. Great job by badon, Peter Anthony, tamo42, pococnopenn, Larry Dreher and the rest of those guys, they are masters of the Chinese Pandas and all Modern Chinese Coins as well it would be a huge accomplishment when the day comes where yennus has enough knowledge here at SS to get the panda forum recognized by NGC, PCGS. I have a sense that in the future this forum will become even more popular as Chinese coins continue to rise in demand.

Yennus you have done a phenomenal job here my man ... what you do here is appreciated by all of the SS Panda Forum members. You may not be getting recognition from others yet but here in this panda forum you are greatly appreciated.

    Much gratitude to you Comeaux.

Your kind words are truly appreciated :)

    Many thanks :)

It is my pleasure to be able to share what little Panda knowledge I have with others that are willing to listen.

I agree with comeaux. Yennus is doing an outstanding job of developing this forum and educating people about modern Chinese coins. As time goes by, I am sure the readership and membership here will continue to grow.

    Best wishes,
