    Hi guys,

Where do you purchase your pandas from in Oz?
    Most dealers don't carry them.
Got a few through Maggie back in the day...but now not sure.

    Thanks

    Hi mate,

Thanks for the link good stuff - checked them a few days ago actually, they didn't have as much then.
Still, it does not look like they stock the panda (no 2014 except gold 1/4 and 1/20) and no 2015.

Can you suggest any other dealer with more consistent stock?

    Cheers

2014s are selling out at most dealers, and cannot be reordered from the distributors as minting of that year is finished.

2015s are on hold by several dealers until a private ruling on their GST status is answered - no dealer wants to get a retrospective tax bill that would be greater than the margin originally made from selling the coins if the ATO decides that due to the dropping of the weight, fineness and metal markings from the coins they are no longer considered an investment form and are to attract GST.

Thanks for the insight, great stuff.
I'll guess we'll have to do a bit of wait and see on this one.

The panda coins are really popular among investors. Each coin is come in brilliant-uncirculated condition and contains .9999 (24k) fine gold. You can buy this coin from different trust-able collectors of panda coins. They must give you the best collections of panda coin.

Maybe in the us there are many dealers of the coin!
Here in Australia, dealers carrying the coin have been rarer.
But as above, we might just be sitting in that gap between the 2 years.
