If you could only have one panda, regardless of silver or gold, which one would you have? Any size..

You guys are praising theses pandas all the time and I've been thinking to get one.But which one?

the other thing is what's with all the grading thing amongst panda collectors? I mean you guys are grading as much coin as possible as far as I can see here on the forum...

is there a such thing as 2oz gold panda?

Is this worth owning even with the high price and high mintage ? It is one of the missing ones in my collection, and I refrained from buying because of high price, but I would love to hear your thought on it.

im not sure as i dont know much about them, but i was bidding on one over ebay earlier today (2012 silver 1 oz) and it shot up over 40, so i didnt even bother following it to the end. I dont have any Pandas, they look nice but imo a coin with an 8million mintage, shouldnt have such a high premium.

I think so, I thing mintage numbers can be decieving ,if we use e bay for an example ,a 2000 frosted panda much lower mintage but there are always 30 or 40 examples for sale, banknote if your lucky a couple and always the same seller,s holding out for big$$, I have been hunting, very rarely seen for sale, and another tough coin to grade high ,actually came as a set with a very cool medal ,the sets have been broken up alot, about 3 month,s ago I had an opportunity to buy an OMP set for 1000 usd ,I thought that was pricey ,but I sould have bought it.................I love the set.......

I agree a coin worth getting. The set comes in the best presentation box I have ever seen.

Heheh... sorry been super busy lately... I haven't even been on a single Panda Hunt in months!

I think this could be the longest time I've gone without Panda Hunting.

Hopefully this week I'll get the chance to do some serious Hunting :)

I would love to get my hands on one of these as well , they do seem very hard to find and expensive.

Yeah grading seems really big with panda collectors , I think part of it is that there are alot of fakes out there and also alot of crappy looking pandas from years of abuse and neglect so a good grade usually insures the value and beauty for years to come. Also from my experience many of the bigger and well known panda dealers will pass off poor quality coins if they are not graded.
