I ordered some bling bars from Pagnanis a couple of months back, recieved confirmation from Antonino that all was well, money had been recieved and items would be shipped post haste.

I now cannot get any e-mail repllies to my last couple of queries and their web page appears to be down

I've only dropped a couple of hundred, so it won't kill me, but still , from a company that supposedly traces it's lineage back to the dark ages(ish) it doesn't bode well.

Buyer beware i guess, it seems like they aren't what they advertise themselves to be.

If things change and my goods arrive, i will of course post it here

how dodgey does this outfit look hey! reminds me of some rare silver bar company I ordered from back in the day when I had NFI about silver... can't remember their name but they took me for $800...

the youtube video has muti-nics commenting on the video (i.e. same person assuming multiple identities)... which makes them look even dodgier (you can tell by the all the commenters use of english its the same person).

hope you get your silver... don't suppose you paid by paypal and can get the cash back?

let us know how it pans out. if there is one thing that makes me wanna start swinging its low lives like this... I can even live with those numis network guys... but outright scammers like this make me wanna hurl

Pagnani have been around a while (petty sure they weren't operating out of South Australia for 500 years though!) - and made some beautiful looking silver rounds - but no idea what's happened to them.

Until I've got a few trades with a dealer or they are recommended on this site, i take it easy, and i have a max figure i use in pretty much any online trade. I have to say , this is the first time I've been stung.

thanks for the well wishes , I'll keep everyone informed

"Paymate" refunded my money today, all good. They are Sydney based and were VERY helpful, stayed in contact regularly.

Anyone here join the $5k club that guaranteed 1 coin per month? i hope not.

Upside of this debacle is that if you own any Pagnani silver, it probably just went up in value to collectors.

Thanks to all for their support and best wishes on this issue

    Regards

    Max

Total eye candy.I bought some about 6 months ago, and was bidding on a few 10ozers which disappeared mid auction (on feebay). Then they said their account had been frozen and they couldn't sell me the ones I had bought - did refund promptly from a different account ( belonging to pagnani). Did some snooping and found they were buying heaps of
sterling silver scrap and graphite moulds, which seemed odd for a well established company. So, wouldn't trust the 999. Would be interesting to test them.

Just the description of the items seemed dodgy and told me to stay away from it.
Glad I still got it. :)

I have a 1oz for novelty factor. It is not overweight, but the mould/press didn't imprint properly to the edges. Nice to hold though. Like a chocolate button!
