Is there a consensus on the best way to mail packages OS, specifically the US?
I normally deal in fairly small quantities locally and would go for platinum post via Auspost. Is this appropriate or did i need to use something like FedEx?

Also are there any extra rules in terms of declarations i need to be aware of?

    Thanks in advance

    You can't post 'coins'.
You can however post 'numismatic tokens'. They look a bit like coins (e.g. they are round) but they are not money, and collectors just like them to get the whole set.

Already used international registered post to Europe, US and Asia and never had any issue.

It is more cost effective than platinum but it is much slower and you can't track it.

Same. No problems sending or receiving Int Reg to UK, USA or NZ.vjudt package it up properly and mark the contents down as 'metal sample' with a relatively low value declared.
