    Any opinions on grade and price range for this beauty?

    1906-M half sov, mintage only 82042, rated R by Marsh

    Impossible to give an accurate grade and therefore price guide just from the provided pics, @neonuke.

    Even a professional grader would need to look at the coin in person with a magnifying glass to give you an accurate assessment.

    Seen one sell recently at an auction in gVF grade for about $460 with the buyer's commission, so that's your starting reference point.

    It is with coins that start approaching the near Unc grade that the prices on this particular date and mintmark half-sovereign shoot up towards the $1000 mark.
