Hello SS, I want to ask a second opinion on my recent kooks bought on this forum. I bought 5 of them and managed to return two because the condition was poor. The reminder coins I thought that they were okay and had mild toning, but I was told that the color looked discoloured somehow, see pics :| Can you give me your opinion? is this normal toning for 2003 kooks? what actually happening here? were the coins being 'cleaned' ? Ill back BB up on this, was a nicely toned coin that someone has attempted to "make shiny" and ruined a perfectly collectable kook.. should trade a few bucks less IMO as not wanted by a serious collector 1for1
yah the other SS member pointed out to me when I f2f trade this afternoon. no drama so far, the seller agreed to take them back. thanks heaps guys for the help.
