A lot of brokers, all the major banks offer some service. Bell direct I believe is the cheapest brokerage costs. Personally I use Commsec and would recommend that one from what I have read and used myself.

Thanks for that, I just had a look at my banks. Stgeorge does have the service (anyone used them?) Ubank does not seem to.

PS i don't have an account with "which bank" and have not had one since i was a teenager (long long time ago) when they were not very nice to me.

Ubank is owned by NAB who have an online brokerage. St George (and NAB) used to use comsec backend but not sure now.

I use Westpac for online brokerage simply because its easy to move money between my westpac accounts.

I also use IGmarkets for leveraged trades depends what you want to do i guess. I believe Commsec is the best rated online trading platform but the platform's the same as Westpac at least.

    I use St george.
I guess they are OK, but don't have anything to compare them to. I've only started using in last year or so.

    Brokerage is $20.

Unless you want to change banks, then you are probably stuck with using the service offered by your bank. For convenience, I stay with St George.

If you're just dabbling then you should keep your brokerage to a minimum - CMC Markets are as cheap as you can get. No frills but I've had no issues with them.
