The collapse of the petrodollar won't just be a decline of the US, it will be a decline of all oil based economies. I look forward to the suicides of the desert sheikhs who squandered their nations wealth.

deceived are people, Saudi have been pumping the oil >70 years
the treasuries holdings of 3T had been confiscated

up in smoke for the region, if the missiles fly...is no joke

This Saturday, Aug. 17, 2019 false-color image from the European Commission's Sentinel-2 satellite that was processed by Sinergise's Sentinel Hub website shows smoke rising from a natural gas facility at the Shaybah oil field in Saudi Arabia after a drone attack claimed by Yemen's Houthi rebels. Drones launched by the Houthis attacked a massive oil and gas field deep inside Saudi Arabia's sprawling desert on Saturday, causing what the kingdom described as a "limited fire" in the second such recent attack on its crucial energy industry. The Saudis have sealed their own fate with Yemen. Not even American Patriot missiles can save them.

US tells Greece any help to Iranian tanker may be ‘terrorism support’ https://on.rt.com/a081
The US State Department has informed the Greek government of its ‘strong position’ regarding foreign states providing any assistance to Iranian oil tanker that was recently released by Gibraltar despite all Washington’s pressure.
Any attempts to assist the vessel, which was renamed from ‘Grace 1’ to ‘Adrian Darya 1’ and is now reportedly heading towards Greece, could be considered as “providing material support to a US-designated foreign terrorist organization,” a State Department official told Reuters.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, meanwhile, criticized Gibraltar’s ‘unfortunate’ decision to ignore US pressure. After it became clear last week there were no reasons to hold the vessel any longer, the US issued its own warrant for its seizure, claiming the ship was involved in money laundering and financing the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), which Washington designated as a terrorist organization earlier this year.
The British territory explained it was not bound by US laws, pointing out that EU sanctions against Iran are far less sweeping than Washington’s own “maximum pressure” sanctions regime and that the vessel is complying with EU laws.

The Royal Marines seized the Iranian supertanker last month as it passed Gibraltar, accusing the vessel of illegally attempting to transport oil to Syria. Tehran emphatically denied the claim, calling the seizure an act of “piracy” undertaken at Washington’s direction. The Iranian navy has warned it is “ready to escort our tanker” should the US attempt to retake the Adrian Darya.

Australia joins US-led anti-Iran flotilla… in the name of national security & economic interests https://on.rt.com/a0aj

Australia will send a frigate and a spy plane in support of Washington’s dubious initiative to boost security in the Straits of Hormuz by filling it with foreign warships, increasing the risk of miscalculations and provocations.
“The government has decided that it is in Australia's national interest to work with our international partners to contribute,"Prime Minister Scott Morrison said on Wednesday morning. "Our contribution will be limited in scope and it will be time-bound.”
Following the US and UK lead, the former British colony will reinforce the sparse coalition with a P-8A Poseidon maritime surveillance plane this year and will dispatch a frigate next January for at least six months’ patrol, foreign affairs minister Marise Payne and defense minister Linda Reynolds said in a statement.

Besides this ‘limited’ contribution, Canberra also agreed to provide intelligence and other assistance, as the US faces an uphill battle trying to muster support for its “maritime policing” initiative. Previously, only the UK and Israel had volunteered to battle the much-hyped Iranian threat, following a series of mysterious attacks on oil tankers that were pinned on Tehran and reciprocal vessel seizures by Iran and the UK.

The Islamic Republic, meanwhile, believes the US is simply trying to enforce its unilateral oil sanctions through military pressure after failing to do it via political extortion.

The pressure is still building just like in Hong Kong

The British are sending another warship and we are joining them in January with Potus seemingly determined to stop Iran exporting their oil.

I am not as sure that "nothing" is going to happen like some with rockets still flying the way I am looking at it,it is not called the gulf of tears for nothing o_O

The pressure around the world continues to build

    # I am talking about real issues in the world not the [email protected]#$%^&* child like belief of "climate change"

Not much if any news out of the Gulf region for a while and now Russia considers the possibility of USD25.00 oil next year.

    Seems subdued right now.

Explosion rocks Iranian tanker near Saudi port city of Jeddah, oil spilling into Red Sea - reports https://www.rt.com/news/470667-iran...notifications&utm_campaign=push_notifications

A tanker belonging to Iran’s government-owned oil corporation has reportedly been hit by a blast and caught fire in the Red Sea, 60 miles from Saudi Arabian shores. The incident is treated as a “terrorist act,” local media say.
The vessel, operated by the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC), has been sailing through the Red Sea when the explosion occurred, according to Iran’s semi-official ISNA news agency. The blast was powerful enough to damage two of its reservoirs, leading to an oil spill in the area.

Local media cited some unnamed Iranian “technical experts” believe that the incident could have been caused by a “terrorist attack,” but didn’t provide any evidence backing the claim.

The tanker’s crew wasn’t hurt in the incident that took place near Jeddah, the largest port in the Red Sea that serves as a maritime gateway to Saudi Arabia.

NIOC, which once ranked second after Saudi Aramco in terms of crude oil extraction, has told state-run IRNA news agency that the vessel has been hit by what appears to be a missile attack. That report did not expand on where such an attack could come from.
