at least that's how it looks to end up.

the two key battlegounds of Florida and Ohio both have Obama leading:

    Florida: (74% counted)
    Obama: 50%
    Romney: 49%

    Ohio: (29% counted)
    Obama: 55%
    Romney: 44%

Obama is about 10 000 votes ahead (out of 7 million) of Romney in Florida - with 82% counted.

Whoever wins Florida wins the presidency.

    Another win for socialism

    Look at it another way.

I think considering Obama cannot run for re-election after this term, he might make some decisions that will reflect on his legacy that he might wish to leave behind.

I think a large scale war is less likely under his reign and financial collapse more likely.

As hard as it would be for the citizens of the US (and the rest of the world), I think financial collapse would be a better alternative to world war.

Whilst nothing is set in stone, if we're going to want a puppet in office until the US finally goes under, I'd rather it someone like Obama who's less likely to do something drastic.

If the pressure is off his shoulders and he's 'truly' a communist, it might actually turn out for the best for the people. Financially no, but it's better than turning the international climate into a nuclear wasteland.

Besides, I'd rather a socialist at the wheel when the system goes under rather than someone like Ron Paul.

There really should be no escape for the accountability of failed socialist policies of the political heads of the day and looking at the numbers, there's every chance the US will default in the next four years.

Instead of spending all the billion of dollars for the campaign maybe they should just pay their supporters to move into the 'key' seats.

lol - well the Democrat supporters are already breeding like rock rabbits - demonstrating that the penis is mighter than the sword ...
at least with the moronic system of 'democracy with socialism' it is.

so it's only a question of time before the zombies outnumber free thinking people by ten to one in each and every state

Obama seems to be pulling ahead in Florida.
    now 37 000 votes ahead.

I guess the zombies have had a very fruitful breeding program in Florida over the past eight years ... must be all those food stamps and governent grants given to them (stolen from the normal people)

Do you honestly think it makes any difference which snake oil salesman is President when it comes to the US going to war?
If you think Obama is some sort of "peace-maker", objectively look at US foreign policy initiatives since he came to power. There has been no market difference between Bush and Obama despite a Nobel Peace prize thrown into the mix for messiah like promises of peace and heaven.

And what do you think the probability of one occurring without the other?

    Pretty good actually.

The US military machine costs about 100 million dollars a day to run atm.

    No cash...

I'm with Lucky Luke on this one.

War has always been an economic stimulus for the US.
    No cash??

lol - no problemo - as reserve currency they simply print more, and the inflationary effects are exported to the rest of the world - who feel it more than the US does.

    funny that hey!?

Has anyone seen Rambo III lately, you can literally swap the Russians for Americans. The Mujahideen are awesome too! Well they were until they became Al Qaeda :(
