I've a 'North West' trading coin - marked 1oz 09999. Are these sort of coins only worth bullion value or do they have a numismatic value?
More specifically I'm wondering about what to pay over spot for these sort of things.

With some of the international rounds there is a slight premium added to spot (outside minting/handling/etc costs) due to levels of available supply in Australia due to the high cost of import. If you are looking at a tube of 20 NWT mint rounds with a spot price of $28-29 you may expect to pay upwards of 32-33/round due to import costs of getting these items into the country. Outside of this, I think there are some round designs that are more favoured than others and these may attract a small numismatic premium aswell. I foresee the Andean 99999 round being another example of a item that would attract a numismatic premium.
