Is this meant to be satire? I can't tell anymore, since police really do bizarre things to steal from the public.

I had a cop jump in front of my car to stop me and slap me with a $330 fine. Apparently i didn't come to a "complete stop" at a side street T-Section with no other cars on the road. WTF is going on with the police today.

For giggles, a link to a story from the same source in May 2019.

#Breaking: Surprise Contender Emerges For Labor Leadership
    May 21, 2019
Former Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull is attempting to revive his political career – this time from the opposite side of parliament.

“I’m throwing my hat into the ring for leadership of the Labor party,” Malcolm Turnbull announced a short time ago. “I have the runs on the board.”

Turnbull is up against other contenders, including Anthony Albanese and Chris Bowen.

It follows Labor’s shock loss in the federal election which led to Bill Shorten stepping down as Labor leader.

“I no longer have any ties to the Liberal party,” says Turnbull. “I am in a re-building stage and so is Labor.”

Analysts say Turnbull’s career to date has been defined by his attempts to be all things to all people.

“So there’s no reason why he can’t continue to adapt by serving Labor voters,” says political commentator Henry Budde. “Turnbull is still widely respected, so he could be a real asset for Labor.”

The search for the next leader is expected to take about one month.

Rank and file members will first cast their votes, followed by the federal Labor caucus, before the results are averaged out and a winner crowned.

#Breaking: Coroner Confirms Bob Hawke Wasn’t Stabbed In The Back By Bill Shorten
    May 17, 2019
A Sydney coroner has confirmed that former Prime Minister Bob Hawke died of natural causes.

The coronial report was this morning shared by police at a press conference.

“The coroner has examined the body and can conclude there were no suspicious circumstances around the death,” says Senior Constable Charles Hambley.

Police say the coronial report was ordered by other former Labor Prime Minister’s Julia Gillard and Kevin Rudd.

Mr Rudd had alleged Bill Shorten may have stabbed Bob Hawke in the back in a bid to lift Labor Party nostalgia in the days before the federal election.

“You never know what Bill Shorten is capable of,” says Kevin Rudd. “We were thinking the worst and are relieved our suspicions have been proven false.”

    Bob Hawke was 89.

Zerohedge has been a clickbait site for a while now. I read everything with a pinch of salt, just as I do with any MSM site.

The author quoted on ZH was one of the "Chicken Little" types who leap to any nearest conclusion that will maintain their paid subscriber base.

The inability of so many US residents to spot irony and satire fuels an entire industry.
