Quality is high indeed, but the subject leaves much to be desired IMO. A boy in a canoe isn't exactly my idea of 'cool'. But there is no denying the beauty of the strike.
A boy in the canoe alone would not thrill me, but the mirror reflection being the native man is pretty awesome, especially how the alignment between the two is so precise while still maintaining a nice aspect ratio. Plus I am a fan of the outdoors, and the 'spirit' of the coin is what attracted me.
Overall I think it's a very cool coin. There is no way I can get organised to get one from the mint myself. So of you get sick of yours shoot me a pm heyimderrick lol. Btw everyone is too hard on the cougar. It looks pretty ugly but it still needs some lovin'. Might look good in person. Dan

It is a beautiful coin, maybe I'll order a bunch more through friends. Too bad it's very small though, if it came in maple size that would look even more awesome.

I've seen those at the coin stores, never really paid attention to them. And no, they don't have milk spots because these are "collectors" items.
