Not paying Super

    Well, my missus just discovered that her employer hasn't been paying her Super. Her payslips say that they are, but the Super fund isn't receiving them..... :mad:



    Then there is the guy at work. 5 years Super not paid in. He claims that there is nothing that can be done about it seeing as the company he worked for went belly up (not before paying record amounts to the owner / CEO in the last 6 months).



    So I guess the recommendation is to physically check your Super account on a regular basis. A number on a payslip means sweet FA apparently :mad:

    I belive that the directors can be held responceable to a degree and if its a small company there should be a way to get money from him, look into who was the director and talk to a laywer, ACCC or dept of fair traiding.

    Having talked to the ATO today, all you need to do is give them a call about them not paying super and they run with it on your behalf.
