Not a PM question but a metal question, what metal/alloy could this be

    I purchased a nazi pouch badge a while ago, for the record I am not a nazi nor do I have white supremacist views.

    If authentic it is old and shows no signs of rust, it makes a higher ping sound than silver when dropped. Very light in weight. I was thinking aluminum or zinc but they should both oxidize.

    I am just curious as to what it could be made of.

    Yes I plan to sell it.

    Not gun metal is it ? that's been around a long time. If does not react to a magnet could be anything from aluminium onwards how heavy is it ?

    Cant tell much from the pic what tests have your tried
