Maybe it's a misconception of mine since my copper/brass have not graded that high :)

Oh hey Low ... sorry off topic but I ordered that Chinese coin book you were looking for ... looks pretty cool, I hope it has some info on medals as well. I never saw or heard of it until you posted about it on CCF

Thanks for the great tip ! :D

Thanks for the data. Yes i have this misconception because i read a lot in ccf and here the copper medals grade ms65-67. I think ms68 is a very good grade. But now thanks to you i and others will know the new medals are better strikes.

    Nice see you here.
You can combine your two hobbies and buy the number one of superpanda or green panda lantern (a lot of green lantern, why not a panda lantern). Or the avengers with pandas
    ;-)

    Hi comeaux,

Cool! Are you referring to the book mentioned in CCF?

I have not bought the book yet. I believe there is coverage on medals issued by the official mint.

They hired the best photographer to shoot the coins photos. I read the hard cover edition has more photos and it is a collectibles by itself.

I believe the silver version has a mintage of 50 pieces so must be ridiculously expensive. Xi Shi is one of the 4 beauties so there is cultural significance.

Also what book are you guys talking about?

Excellent. The hard cover edition is quite difficult to find now. While I can't confirm, people also said the printing is slightly better.
