Hi Pixha. Remember the hardest part to get a 1000oz stack is the first oz.

    Welcome aboard the silver express.

    Regards Errol43

    Hello Pixha & Chilli.

There's nothing wrong at all with buying only a couple ounces here, a couple ounces there. Whilst there's market players here who have big portfolios, even a few ounces on a regular basis will stack up over time.

After all, it's just coloured paper with pictures of dead people on it. It has no intrinsic value.

Yet, you can trade it for gold and silver.

If you think with a historical mindset, it's absolutely laughable.

    My advice is simple.

Be consistent & buy regularly. Even an ounce a fortnight is better than nothing and it keeps you motivated.

Cost average. That means some days you'll buy cheap, some days a little more. Silver bounces around like a yo yo. Unless you have big wads of cash to invest, buying regularly and consistently will be better than trying to time dips.

Measure your stack in ounces, not dollars invested.

And lastly, enjoy the ride! Holding precious metals in the hand will spark a fire in most people. We've all grown up with stories of pirate treasure and been instilled with the value of gold and silver on a philisophical level.

But put a few ounces in the hand and then your pocket and you will really get it.

Beware though, stacking is addictive. ;)

And than as you keep buying the ounces and putting it in some box/container than you will feel the box getting heavier and heavier and when you open it to check out your silver/gold you feel like a kid for a moment opening a treasure chest !

    :)

    Welcome to the forum pixha.

Whether you are investing small amounts or huge sums of money you are already ahead of 99% of the population by thinking of precious metals, so congratulations.
    good luck with your stacking.

    Hi there pixha.
A few guys talking up the 10oz bar as your 1st purchase. I say 'meh!' you can get yourself a beautiful 2oz lunar rabbit and get change out of $100.
I believe you can get em at Ainslie in BNE.

    Enjoy yourself mate!

G'day Pixha and Chilli , as another Noob my advice is just buy what you can when you can, look long term , and have a look at a few of the older post's here, stuff like What if Silver go's to $20 are great for a laugh considering where we are now. Dont doubt your inner voice unless it is screaming at you , that small amount now could be double by the end of this year . If not just being here will give you a head start on when to sell.
