Hey guys, Just wanted to say a hello to all out there is PM land.. I'll give you my quick bio: I'm 27 and live in Newcastle. Studied accounting, biomedical science, and currently studying environmental science and management, majoring in sustainability at Newcastle uni. Obsessed with gardening - especially organic vege gardening. I grow veges as well as flowers.. lillies, tulips and various annuals.. I find it all fun. I Just finished a stint out at Singleton as a vac student working for Xstrata and found it really interesting coming from somewhat of a 'greenie' perspective. Started stacking in March 2010 @ $16.5 oz spot price ... put all I could spare into it. Love the decision I made. I'm really glad I found an area where I can chat with my fellow pm lovers and appreciate the work of the administrators.. nice job, people. Ok that'll do. Cheerio. PPSS
Hey PPSS, Welcome. Speaking of gardening, I'm hoping that the new invasion of the Asian Honey Bee doesn't decimate our nation's food basket in a couple of years. Its going to be just like the cane toad but worse. Govt have decided to end funding of the eradication plan (read in yesterday's paper)...short-sighted dickwads.
Cheers for the welcomes. If you hate the long name..just go with "PPSS" .. it's actually a reference to the cartoon 'My gym partner's a monkey" ... of course, that is also how I address my stack when I open my safe .. .... kinda like a mantra..gets me into a state of hypnosis.. peace
..mmm always do. Smell of silver sends shivvers down my spine .. so how bullish is everyone here? Worst case scenario we all hedge against inflation.. but I'v heard and read some pretty mouth watering predictions..that is of course, if you are in possession of a nice stack when it goes awry. I'd like to hear what you think.. or direct me to a thread where this has been discussed PPSS
its goin down buddy real fast i live close to u on the central coast better bring it to my place il give ya a fair price for it .lol
Ahhh, good to see a fellow Novocastrian on this site. Even better to hear that you've spent some time in the mining industry - i bet you are glad that you don't do the Newie - Singleton daily drive anymore, the 3hrs/day drive gets monotonous. Good to hear that you are interested in enviro sci and sustainability. Hopefully you'll consider your love of exotic annuals to include the native variety over time. Have you checked out the wildflower nursery on Lake Rd Elermore Vale? It's best in spring for obvious reasons. Check out Chorizema cordatum, Hibbertia stellaris, Andersonia caerulea (in the wild), and heaps of others from SW WA.
