Hi, guys/gals, I've recently gotten into Gold and Silver. I've used two resources to educate myself about gold and silver, which would be "sbcgold.com/investing-101/" and a Udemy course called "How to invest into Gold". I recently bought 3 1oz 2018 American Silver Eagle coins. I've was hoping for some tips and some of my questions to get answers.

1.What websites do you go to get information regarding gold and silver?
2.Is it good to invest in recent coins like I did(2018 American eagle coin)?
3.What are some good books to read regarding investing and learning more about gold and silver?
    4.Are bars a good investment?

I have a lot of questions but I thought I start out with these 3, so it's nice to be on here and I hope we learn together.

1.What websites do you go to get information regarding gold and silver?
I have trolled all over the internet and read a tonne of articles on it. The one thing I can say about this is that there is no right answer and everybody has their own opinion on what to buy, when to buy it etc... I am going with the diversification is best principal and so I have bullion coins (just like your ones), rounds, bars, 90% etc... I have a bit of everything.

2.Is it good to invest in recent coins like I did(2018 American eagle coin)?
Yes, it is perfectly fine and a lot of people do including me. You can always buy other stuff as well as you find out about it. Just remember that you need to buy the metal at close to spot value if you want to see much of an appreciation when it comes time to sell it.

3.What are some good books to read regarding investing and learning more about gold and silver?
    Not sure.

    4.Are bars a good investment?
Yes, so are coins, rounds, 90% (junk silver) etc... My own suggestion is to get a bit of everything. You can get more of what you like if you want.

Low premium 999 gold might be worth looking at.

1.What websites do you go to get information regarding gold and silver?

    - this one, ask questions, the community here is generous with their answers

2.Is it good to invest in recent coins like I did(2018 American eagle coin)?

    - sure, they are always readily tradable, just make sure you don't over pay

3.What are some good books to read regarding investing and learning more about gold and silver?

    - James Rickards has written multiple, read them to be thought provoking, not gospel

    4.Are bars a good investment?

    - yes, and you are more likely to get bars over coins such as your ASE, for closer to spot.

    "How to invest into Gold"
    Wrong Q.
Converting FRN to Gold is savings. Converting your FRN into crypto is investing.

So, whay - it seems is hiding behind a wall of screening as many snipers seem to do on SilverStackers.

You know the type, the usual smart arses who think they own the comments section on SilverStackers. _JLG.

Hello to the decent comenters, hopefully SilverStackers moderators have the fortitude to sort them out.

    They want to tell you:
what size font you can use.
    what colour you can use.
    what you can talk about.
what you can eat for breakfast _JLG.

To the newcomer, welcome. Just limit your buying to lower premiums till you know the basics.

After deciding what kind of investor you are, open your wallet.

The only caveat to watch out for are high premiums, some premiums are justified, some are a gamble.

    Silver is gambling.
    Gold is security.
