This will be updated into the FAQ and rules shortly.

With the introduction of "fair usage" limits for different classes of membership levels, there's been a sudden trend on the forum for trading threads to be edited blank by users, which is cluttering the forum greatly.

    Please stop doing this :)

As an alternative, if you would like to remove a trading post you have made, simply use the "REPORT" function - there's a link in the bottom right corner of the original post in your thread. Report the first post, just put a message in the report saying "remove", and I will archive the threads. After 30 days they will get deleted as per standard operating practice.

I'll look into creating an "ARCHIVE" function so that users can self-archive their own threads rather than needing to request it, will see what the code is like behind the scenes to see if it's feasible.

But for now - use the REPORT function.

    Hi Gold Pelican,
Is it possible to "lock" and have a padlock symbol placed next to the sales post once the sale has been done?
That way a user can quickly see if the sale is still active or not.

    Thanks,
    Blake.

ha, i think if Redback stopped posting, the activity in the trading tread would go down 25%
