agree two extremes: a) 10 dealers having 1000 coins each (I know people who have more than 100 horses, and they are not dealers) b) 1000 dealers having 10 coins each Buyers who are ready to buy as much as they can will go after b)-dealers ... dealers will think there's huge demand and start raising the price ... coz they are in making profits not delivering coins for cheap. so, differentiate mintage of 10k and behavior with mintage of 100K ... it is totally different from sellers' perspective.

This isn't a lunar though. This is a annual series of different horses. Hope the next horse is super awesome, then that will increase demand for the 1st one. If the 2nd one is dog poop, and flops, oh well, it was worth the risk.
Even if the second one is "dog poop", the first one will likely gain further. Just look at the Glow in The Dark Dino coins from the Canadian mint as an example
Soon it's going to be time for more horsey madness? I didn't get a single silver lunar horse picked up a couple of gold ones though.
.....oops my mistake. This thread is for the stock horse coins. I have a tasty handful of these. Hehe. Don't want to miss out on the new one, anyone know when the release date / preorders are estimated?
So do we know if they are going for same logic as last year by releasing a limited 1000 mintage carded one for the Aussie market and the rest of the mintage for overseas ?
The coin is commissioned by EMK in Germany, so they will get at least their 9,000 coins. The only part to be determined is if Perth keeps 1000 for Australia in cards like last year and I'm pretty sure they will.
Those carded versions turned out to be a good investment, shame none of us guys in Europe could get any of the carded ones. Though I am still happy with the amount of Stock Horses I managed to tame Hopefully will be able to get a few of this up and coming one as well. Anyone have any ideas as to what the design will look like?

That's the description of the Stock Horse, not the new upcoming coin. I was wondering what the 2015 one would look like.
chris...the last release of the stock horse was dated 2013 mate. The reference in my last post is correct for the 2014 coin (Yet to be released). Last years 2013 coin said this: The Australian Stock Horse - Bullion Coin The design on the Australian Stock Horse (1oz) silver bullion coin, consists of a representation of a horse superimposed on a landscape with grasses, trees, shrubs, a fence and a tank on stilts, and the following: (a) "THE AUSTRALIAN STOCK HORSE"; (b) "2013 1oz 999 SILVER"; (c) "IJ"; (d) "P" Hope that helps. H
Sorry, I read the description and it sounded just like the one I have, that's why I thought I was mistaken about the years and that the new release was going to be 2015. I hope this one doesn't look that similar, certainly sounds very similar in the description. So the whole series is going to be of Stock Horses instead of different horses?
