    Did anyone receive an email about a new mystery coin to be released on Monday 0:01AM.

    I like the way its being advertised. I am tempted to stay up for it and get one now.

    Its an Australian coin regarding a certain event supposingly

    If Downies are hyping this coin up
    They can keep it , I'm guessing it will be one of their " commissioned coin "

    Thats true. Forgot they made their own coins. If its anything like the unicorns, I will probably forget about it too.

    They mentioned it in their weekly email last week I believe... and linked to this site: http://australiannaturalresources.com.au
    I'm not sure of the connection here, but looks like some kind of viral marketing campaign. At first I thought it might be another vampire coin - in line with them recycling the movie poster for "there will be blood"... but the domain name and blurb they have on the loading page works against that theory. Very intriguing.

    Personally I'm not too sure about the theme, but the actual design looks really cool. Wouldn't mind seeing this "embossed" effect in real life.

    Hey nobody here thought much of the Mary McKillop coin but it went through the roof (especially the gold)

    You never know what will strike the fancy of collectors


    Personally I don't think this one will but you never know

    Yeah, this is clearly a coin for collectors, not stackers. I'm not surprised by the reaction here.

    That being said I'm getting one, simply because it looks good and it's a different theme to what we're used to. I'm so over animals and mythical creatures at the moment! :lol:
