New Messages

Im new here so forgive me if this is already posted.

When you get a new msg I think the msg bar should be highlighted to advise that you have a private message otherwise you dont know if you got a msg other than you manually checking it.

It already tells you there is a new msg under the 'logged in' bit. And sends you an email.

 

... so ... you need to be sure you are logged in.

 

How do you get a trade number beside your name. I have only made 1 sale to a fellow member but I hope to make several more in the near future.

I have been a member for some considerable time and if I am to sell to fellow members I do hope to establish a reputation for honesty and integrity.

So how do I get my first successful trade to register.

In the Profile Section Errol, under the Display and Feedback section there's an "Opt-in" option at the bottom to show trades.

 

And once you have opted in , than PM your customer and ask him/her to leave feedback. by clicking on the green +

 

By the way - my trades and feedback seem to be missing from my profile - where are my 10 trades ?

 

seems like it only shows on the buy, sell & swap threads

 

I don't seem to be getting an email every time I get a Private Message?
I only get emails when I've subscribed to a topic.

Is there an option somewhere that I must of unticked?

 

Also check your junk email options if you find they go missing.
