Hello people. I've just registered today after a few months' of irregular lurking. A few notes about my background & interests: I've recently shifted to Hobart from Melbourne (and was from Adelaide before that). I got into PM equities back in 2002, and over this time I have become very familiar with PM theory (& ideology), but only bought my first couple of kg of physical silver back in July. (The equities have mostly been very good to me, so I haven't been in a hurry to change investment tactics). In hindsight, obviously I should have bought more physical then, but was (and still am) suspicious about a pending and deflationary GFC phase 2. I'm also looking to shift some SMSF money into PMs and/or PM equities either after GFC phase 2 hits, or when the risks turn odds-on inflationary.
