Hi Everybody! Just thought I should say something rather than just perpetually lurking. I started investigating bullion silver for some experiments making Silver Nitrate a few months ago, and just kind of fell down the rabbit hole. My dad had a collection of round 50c coins, florins and sovereigns when I was a kid, so I think I'm predisposed to old shiny things. Also interested in scrap silver, simply because melting things is fun. So I like silver as a shiny thing, an industrial thing, and an old thing. What's not to love?
Welcome I had similar childhood memories of a small coin collection of my fathers - round fifties, florins and crowns. So that's where it all started.
