    Started stacking 2 weeks ago and came across this forum!

    Glad i did too, very informative information, you guys rock:cool:!

    Quick Q - Silver shot, what is the view on this? Have and little, stay away... Can't find any threads or links regarding it

    Welcome OTIS,

    Silver shot is useful if you will be doing some melting or jewellery making/repairing.

    It will track the spot price of silver tho and has a lower premium per oz than most 1 oz coins.

    If you are a noob, id recommend not to buy it.

    If your new to stacking my rule is it has to have weight/fineness/material stamped on it for it to be a valid investment and $ denomination is a plus. Silver shot does not tick any of those boxes. I also think if new it is a good idea to stay away from bargains as they usually they are NOT Ag, there are plenty of good priced silver on this forum from reputable sponsors/members... ohh.. and Welcome :)
