A few coin dealers have emailed me today in regards to a new 50 cent piece issued at lunch time. Limited edition of only 5000 rolls. Might be someone out there that is wanting to purchase,,heres is the blog about them.

Announced today at midday, the Royal Australian Mint is issuing a new 50c coin into circulation! Just in time for National Reconciliation Week, this new coin recognises the 50th anniversary of the 1967 referendum and the 25th anniversary of the historic Mabo decision.

As a distributor for our national mint, we will receive official Mint Rolls of this new coin. That means we have both individual coins and official mint rolls available to you. If you are a roll collector though, we urge you to act now. Our stock will sell out within days, if not by the end of today!

    Thanks for that.

The RAM are doing their usual exchange https://eshop.ramint.gov.au/Pride-and-Passion-Sachet/511082.aspx but you have to pay the $10 postage and you can only buy up to 3 sets. You could throw in 3 sets of the 100 years of ANZAC https://eshop.ramint.gov.au/100-Years-of-ANZAC-Sachet/511053.aspx which are face value but the $2 are temporarily out of stock https://eshop.ramint.gov.au/Lest-We-Forget-Sachet/511045.aspx so you can't add them, it might be worth waiting to see if they come back into stock if you want to make the most of your postage, but who knows when/if that will be.
