New $2 coin ?

    They're being sold as a part of the annual proof/uncirculated set, I'm not sure whether they'll reach circulation or not though

    This seller has already sold 139 of them at $10 each.

    Do you think they have just bought the sets and split them? You can get the sets for $25 so if you can sell a couple of the coins at this price you should be able to make a bit of cash but it seems a lot of effort.

    Looks alot like an old crown coin in the design.

    Just had a look through the sellers page and it looks like they are selling these coins with all denominations, so I'd say they are. If they bought these in bulk then there's also be a chance to get it at a bulk rate, I believe.

    You can get the whole set for around $25. Each of the face side of the coins has an image of its pre decimal counterpart.
