    I don't know why people still talk about profit or loss for a central bank, it's of no concern to them.

    Heck the way things are now, profit and loss isn't that important to big banks either. Assets are priced at arbitrary levels to make the books look good and if that fails the CB just recaps them. There are no rules anymore for the big guys.

    Pedal to the metal until it all breaks. Rot just needs time.

    short answer no, watch the video and north tells you why not, if it was a commercial bank then there is a problem ie if the reserve bank was still CBA (then more of an open question).
