hi i need some advice (friendly) about my smsf before i take it in and get my butt kicked
i decided to start my own smsf with poor advice i had no clue what i was doing i only had just over $23000 (thanks to other super funds) i have about $8000 left
im missing reciepts because people wont coff them up , so i have no proof except the transaction from bank where super is.
i think im over due for last years tax return and audit
the paper work is in a hell of a mess
i know its my fault ive been so worried that im heading for the slamer over this that ive delayed and delayed getting last years tax return and audit done
i cant prove a lot of transactions i havent been taking the money for myself but have no idea how to prove that

can some shed some light on what should i do and am i going to jail

and please no smart arses this is for real and im shitting myself

What did you invest in and do you still have it? Is it still worth what you paid for it? Did you buy your investments off businesses or individuals? Sounds bad i'd seek professional help. Good luck

I agree. First things first. You need to write all your memories down. List all the things you bought. Gather your data and then seek help.

Putting it off is not a good idea. Take one step at a time, and BE HONEST at all times.

    Good luck.
