    G'day guys,
Im a deadset newbie, so im probably looking at something useless and abundant...lol and I will get some pics up soon when i get a chance weather wise to finish the pan off, but im seeing a decent amount of some sort of silvery metalic dust amongst the black clay residue, im not entirely sure if its black sand in my pan aswell, like i said, newbie sorry :) but i just wanted to know if anyone had had a similar experience and could shed some light on what it possibly could be. i also found a small shard of something clear that slimmers in the sun sorta, if that helps?

Ive tried looking up if its possible to find silver panning or youtube videos, but cant find any references anywhere so guessing it wont be silver, but it must be something right? lol

the silvery stuff and the clear thing are diferent particles, ive just finished panning, and only ever seeing black sand on youtube, it looks like i have balck sand in the pan at the end, what i cant quite work out yet is if that is what is showing as metalic, or its a seperate particle with it, i think, stress think, i just found a fleck of gold..stay tuned..lol
