Nice! I'm in the process of trying to buy a rare Japanese car at the moment. I don't need it to gain in value/speculate on resale but I believe it probably will. I've always wanted one in that model and the right one has come up - never had body work done, never been resprayed and been locked in a shed for some time now.

If my missus would allow it we'd only buy pre 1980 cars - many of them have bottomed in price and are on their way back up for good examples of desirable models.

    Getting warmer.

KGC10 Coupe is the end game. I've found potentially the deal of the century with this car (hence my tight lips - yeah paranoia). If I get it I'll advertise it for +40% in Australia and see what happens. All going well it'll help me fund the KGC10.

Speaking of which, check this out http://www.rmauctions.com/lots/lot.cfm?lot_id=1067939

$100k worth a few years ago - insanity!
