Hi, I just bought this 6oz silver bar. I like it, it's very unusual. just thought i'd show you just how pretty it is. also sell these spunky looking 1oz bars that I might buy next time..
Ordinary. Anything special about it besides the awkward shape for stacking? If you paid more than $170 AUD for it, you got ripped off I think.
Agree.Looked at the website and all their product is pricey...they have 10 oz bars for $350 ? I thought I saw these bars on another thread? They must be popular however I dont like them at all...especially not at that price.
I made comments about this product in another thread earlier tonight. For the life of me, I can't find it now???!!!
ahhh. Thanks for the hint. Now I can see. Some-one might have gotten all sensitive after a little dirt was getting flung around and cried foul. Next thing, thread "gone". I still think this product is shite.
In an earlier thread that got "disappeared", I believe you indicated you paid quite a bit more than just a "poofteenth" (your terminology, not mine).
Dude..be careful.Around these places we have ways of dealing with triangle haters. Dont mess with the triangle .
I'm just staying on topic. The thread was started to showcase this piece along with invitations for comments. I've added my comment that it was quite unimpressive (I think "shite" was the word) and wouldn't pay much more than spot for it. Not sure about the triangle-hating bit but that isn't my problem.
What!!??? Thats a bit more than the OP claimed (I won't use his measuring terminology in case I inadvertantly press some-ones buttons, no pun intended) $170 with a premium of 26% is approx spot plus $44. Approx $214??? For 6 oz of silver in an odd pyramid shape? LOL Thats a bit rich! I know who got the better end of that deal.
the premium over spot for the 'thing' is justifiable... this is clearly for the 'person who has it all' my grandfather has a saying, "yes son, i know i can find cheaper, but why should i spend countless hours running around getting parts when it works out the same just by buying locally and getting the job completed sooner?" analogy = footy satisfies hoarding addiction sooner AND ITS NEW NOT USED i remember seeing some kind of video a while back explaining and showing the amount of bars that are actually too fkd up due to sticking to the ingot molds... less productivity means higher cost i also assume without further researching there are less of these pyramids than series one lunar dragons, yet nobody (as the saying goes) questions the asking price of lunar dragons each to their own i like it but wouldnt buy one. however, i wouldnt say no if finding one in my christmas stocking not too far from my kerosene lamp and makeshift mantle - all in arms reach - beat that ibiza .
LOL I'll spend all bloody week trying to work that one out, and end up more confused than I am now!
