Found this on another coinsite forum. It's an email response from CIT (the mint that makes the Mongolian Wildlife series) in response to when the follow-up coin to the Hedgehog will be released: "Thank you very much for your e-mail. We're going to the World Money Fair in Berlin next week. If everything runs well, we'll present our follower of the Mongolian Swarovski coin. At the moment we can't let you know more details, but I'm sure after the coin show the new issue is known on the market immediately. Hope to have been of assistance and wishing you a nice weekend. Thanks for the update. If anyone can lay their hands on the coin for less than 250 euros they will have a guaranteed money maker.
I donot think coin ivest sell s to individuals, i donot know if u can get them at the show, and if you can , who u buy from, was thinking to go but not if not if i cannot buy, what i want
CIT doesn't sell to the public. They'll just use the show to unveil the latest release. I imagine all their distributers have already placed their orders. The only questions remaining are: What is the design and how much are they going to charge for it.
There's a post on the eurocollections facebook page saying they'll be announcing the animal on Thursday - which could mean today or tomorrow I guess...
silversmith--- Do you know who the authorized dealers/reps/brokers for CTI in the US are? APMEX retails a lot of CTI products, but APMEX retail prices are a kick in the head and their shipping charges are even worse... I know this won't be a competitively priced product, but APMEX prices are generally about as high as high gets.
I don't believe APMEX is a dealer. I'm not sure of the "official" dealers. As xrayspecs mentioned, ECI should get a few. Pariscoins and Power Coin (Italy) should have them too. One way to get one is keep checking Ebay. The hedgehog showed up there in bunches last year as a presale almost as soon as the picture was released to the public. The prices really spiked once people were selling actual coins.
It's on the CIT website http://www.coin-invest.li/Coins.aspx#! Pre-sales should be hitting ebay soon...
It is different than what I expected, but it is nice. Also the Ural Owl (second in series) didn't look so interesting and now it won COTY (Coin Of The Year 2013) in the category "Most Popular Coin". This series is definitely a must have. Alex.
