The ship still be far from shore and the captain is gone, The sails are still up enough to move the ship along albeit slowly... There isn't a skeleton draped over the wheel. Yet.
Seeing the bow breach the AUD $36.00 barrier again bodes well for a new year tail wind to fill the sails.
The Silver Lady climbed the mast properly into the $36.00 range this last evening then slipped down again, the climb all the way to the safety of the Crows Nest is slippery in the darkness and fog.
Looking back to 2013 there was so many years of not much price action and this last few years has been really exciting. Im expecting 2023 to be the most epic yet and for silver and gold to be some light in the darkness.
Ahhhh Matey, we certainly deserve a reward after such a long voyage.... I always said that if silver "goes to the moon" I probably wouldn't want to be living through whatever causes it to happen but since we seem to be sailing into the storm I'll take whatever I can get! When we strike land the natives might accept the shiny metals and laugh at the coloured bits of paper. .
Looks like someone dropped the sea anchor during the night and the wind tuned toward the bow for the Silver Lady. Her sister ship Heart of Gold fared a little better through the hours of darkness.
We are going to Salida tomorrow morning to hit up Super Walmart, some thrift shops and Mexican food so ill go by the LCS there and see what he has. Last time he was totally out of everything and i was shocked and he was too. Im hoping he has something cool this time haha. Either way im fine with cash and i can always use Apmex but its fun going to the shop and digging through coins. Man im excited.
Most of it is due to the Forex Traders pushing the Aussie dollar higher, they will soon start dumping it again to realize profits.
Nothing at the LCS today and the second time this has happened. He said no one is coming in to sell. He had a pile of the Gov Mint sets that come in cardboard flips and boxes and super expensive. The yearly coin sets for example "1964" had one coin of each from penny to half dollar but thats maybe half an oz for $34 bucks. I didnt do the math for silver content. You guys have probably seen them. I passed on all that stuff and decided Id order the Silver Shield collection from Golden State Mint instead. They are fair priced and i think there are 16 or 17 rounds total that i want so not a huge purchase. I have a couple of them that ive found over the years but ill buy new ones for a tube. Im not really a collector type but that series has pretty cool designs and ive been wanting them for some time so it works out fine. I went in there with $3k so after thinking about it, it turned out fine. If he had 100 old silver dollars I'd have spent all that. Im really just trying to keep cash this winter but its friggin tough.
Play the long game....it seems to be the winner for those with patience. Long term Au v Dow, S&P and FT (in both AUD and USD)
