Yep they grabbed 3% profit.2% to go, and we're back to december, ready for a further slamdown. 31/12/2013 24772 $19.435 24/12/2013 19686 $19.495 06/08/2013 10300 $19.43 02/07/2013 7769 $19.44 Same spot price, but look how the Comex position increased since start juli, from 7769 to 24772 positions. 5000 ounces per position, so 17003 x 5000 = 85 Moz more silver reflected in the spot price on 31/12. Silver that isn't allocated, isn't delivered, just an order for the future, 95% (?) of the times just cancelled. This replaced more 'real orders', being others that sold, and for the moment prevented the price from going down due to it. So when these positions get dumped (as usual), the price will be mowed down to the equivalent of 85 Moz, which is about 8% of the total world annual supply. Unless the other market sides finally (after 2 years) start to buy again, the price will be mowed down another couple dollars. Hello $17?
17 would be a nice price. But at the same time the Aussie dollar seems to drop & cancel out any slamdown for us...Just sayin', thats my observation of late.
Yep, that's also an element to take into account when determining a price to purchase at. For ex, mid 2012 my euro was at 1.23, now it's 1.35, that's +10% meaning that if I would buy now I should get 10% more silver for my euro's than mid 2012. But the silver price then was $27, and now $20, which is 26% down, so what happened on the silver market had an almost 3 times bigger impact than what happened on the dollar/euro market, so a focus on the former is priority. Silver is all about supply since a part is consumed to economically unrecoverable waste. Gold is all about demand since it's being recycled and re-stockpiled to eternity, ever increasing its stock.

Unlike the past, they don't wait long to grab profit. A couple $ suffices. Because the ones they try to frontrun in and out, learnt expensive lessons, and those stick.
