This is an appeal to all of those forum users who have not upgraded their membership to Silver Stacker status.

This forum costs the administrators time and money to manage. Yes, it is a vehicle to promote the business interests of the owners, but it is also much more than that. It has become a social space, a source of precious resources and knowledge and a venue to share, explore and debate together.

Without a doubt most long-term members are wealthier and/or wiser for having been a member of this forum and new users have the same opportunity ahead of them. There are however a number of long-time members and newer members that have not chosen to upgrade their status.

The next 12 months will bring great pressure upon our centralised economies and it would be a great shame in what could possibly be a tumultuous financial period ahead if this online resource could not continue to operate.

I urge all of you both new and those long-time members especially to take some financial responsibility for the maintenance of this forum by joining as a lifetime member. This forum is currently "running on fumes", eventually it will run out of fuel.

If that happens I'll have to talk to customers.

About a year ago I've made a habit of clicking the advertisement banner every time I visit to help support this forum. Once I even bought something.

I think every time someone clicks on an advertisement banner a small commission goes to the forum.

    From my understanding
The major part of the cost is how much data moves through the site
    = PICS
How many other forums let you store photo's on the site ?
That's why I prefer to stick to photobucket

Normally the platform takes a fee when someone clicks on a banner, as far as I know
