Just finished watching this series. Highly recommended.

Some info in here i hadn't heard before, such as there are 65 million empty apartments in China.

They are empty because the Chinese invest in apartments like we would invest in gold or silver. Apartments are static assets that are regarded as a store of value. They are not rented out, and are often nothing more than concrete rooms, neither fitted out or connected to services.

They only have value because everyone agrees hey have value.

They had value as the Chinese were banned from owning/buying gold. I think this changed in 2003/2004.

So once the general population realize its easier and better returns to store wealth via gold you will soon find the apartments will lose value over time.

How can we watch in Australia? The link only allows streaming to Canada. I will send a complaint to Terrance and Phillip!
