I wanted to go Sunday, but had my young daughter...first thing she said..."BORING" ..so i didnt go otherwise i woulda had a whinger there all day. Did anyone go and what was it like?...anyone?
I went there sunday afternoon around 3 unshaven and with a little hangover, I got dirty looks from many.. I saw a few over priced pre-decimal silver coins and quite a few people bringing in jars and bags of coins to get them valued. Saw a few stamps which I own and was amazed at the price they were being sold for.. One lady a had a bag of 50 florins 20 crowns and 100 round 50cents.. a bit dirty, one of the dealers offered her $1000 I told her I will give her a $1500 in cash for the lot. She refused both our offers. mmm...
The ones with the queen.. 1 penny, 4 dimes, 1 shilling. There was one with Shakespeare and the Queen Post war German, Mauritius stamp with king Edward on it. Indian stamps with Gandhi on it
