Melbourne Metals Meetup (CBD) - Sunday October 27th 2024

This Month's Meetup is on Sunday the 27th October. It is again at our favorite CBD location, arguably the finest venue for a stacker meeting throughout both hemispheres of this planet.

October's meeting comes with a bit more warning than usual... and that is thanks to a newly formed group of individuals who have taken on the responsibility of running these wonderful meets. More about that at the meet-up.

As usual we will have a few trading tables set up, showcasing a good assortment of precious metal from some of the local "Gold Precinct" retailers, as well as a few private traders (like myself) with a good assortment of precious metal goodies.

The venue, as always will be revealed by direct message to those stackers who register on this page. We will are running an hour earlier than usual 1:00 to 4:00pm as suggested by members. So don't be late...

The CBD venue makes public transport easy, certainly much easier than parking, but all day parking is available nearby in Flinders lane at Sunday rates, which aren't usually too bad. Across the road the AOC car park (Manchester Lane) is also available on the Sunday.

As with previous meetups, we will also be inviting members of some select Gold and Silver FaceBook groups.

We will of course be holding the auction, and Sam from Adams Bullion is again going to be running the Auction.

As always this is the absolute best time to come get yourself a bargain. Prices are near all time highs, but they are rising.... and if you have metal to trade/sell, you cant go wrong. There should be an XRF machine present to test stuff on the spot too.

I've always not been able to make it but this one I hope to as it would work out to be birthday gift to myself

 

We are going to be having Door gifts for all kids and teenagers under 16 of (x3) 1 gram Cryptocurrency coins BTC,ETH,XRP to assist in starting their stack or rewarding those older to take an interest in real money and their Future.
We are also having a free raffle for all participants drawn at 4pm.Every person ensure you see REDBACK for your tickets. 1 per person.
The raffle Prize will be a close guarded secret but the Mystery will be well worth the effort.

We are having a quick 10min talk on fake products inundating the market and the testing methods currently available including their positive aspects and limitations.

As the Captain has mentioned there will be an XRF on stand by for free testing services of your products.
We will also provide a Sigma Pro for testing of packaged gold and larger bars.
These services are for everyone so please be courteous of others by not bringing 1500 items at once

The excellent work that our founders Adrenalin, Captain Kookaburra, core members & others have done in Supporting the Melbourne Silver Stackers meeting in our early years must be acknowledged.

The Melbourne SS meeting is becoming an event not to be missed attracting members from Melbourne,Regional Victoria,Interstate & occasionally overseas visitors.
If you are from interstate and want to make a weekend of it please contact the SS meeting admin team as we can assist with competitive rates on accomodation.So book early if thats the plan.
