Terrific meetup. Good to meet some new faces. Had a full table, and lots of shiny stuff laid out upon it. Nobody seemed to bat an eye-lid. We were there from 7 to 11, the place closed up around us. Time seemed to go really fast. Great to meet Dan, Angel and Mpowerin for the first time. ... No telling anyone about my sugar cube fetish OK?
It was an excellent meetup night! The place was huge with at least 3 separate possible areas to meetup. (or get lost) Lots of other people around eating and drinking, the place was packed! I got there early and just picked a spot. It ended up being right in the middle of the bar cafe. We moved tables 3 times as more Stackers arrived. Got to catch up with some familiar faces and met some new faces. Which was great! The table was laid out with our silver items. As the Captain mentioned, no-one else even really noticed! Probably thought we were a group of nerdy coin collectors. Anyways most people brought something along to trade or sell. All up it was a successful event and everyone agreed that this should be at least regular monthly event.
Well my sister announced at my do that she had just got married. I'd have preferred mordialloc I think. lol
Yes, was rather fun. Spewing I had to leave early. Hopefully I'll be back for another. Edit: thanks CK for teaching me about crowns.
