Never been to one of these, are there bargains to be had? Does one go on the second day to clean up whats left or is day one better?
BARGAINS ,BARGAINS     Retail ,no bargains to be had, All the retailers are there with they're stock though Never tried going in at the end, might be worth a try
Yeah, the Perth Mint stand blows out all of their gold and silver coins at spot from 5pm on the Sunday. Last year about the only bargains I saw was a bowl of florins that was selling just under spot - didn't pick them up as they were meant for kids to riffle through and collect. There were a few world silver coins that hadn't had prices updated, but little to no bullion, lots of high end numismatics and banknotes. Not hard to find individual items going for $100k+ - I remember seeing a $300k pricetag on some predecimal banknotes. SMSF stuff. Certainly the place to be though if you're a sovereign collector - you'll pay premiums though for dates.
You never know ,it's worth a visit ,last year I nearly left without buying anything , I bought a Russian 10 Rubel ,no bargain ,but my first piece of gold
No bullion there,Coin Club Australia had some bars on display ,but they weren't selling any ,Display only
Numismatics only? That's a shame; I have no knowledge or interest in numismatic coins. I was hoping to walk away with a few kilos of standard 1oz coins or bars if the prices were keen.
I also picked up 2x first $10 polymer notes from Peter Stritch I've always wanted 1 of these ,so 2 for the price of 1 was a good deal
