Yes there may have been some very brief voice info, but a catastrophic decompression at that altitude is pretty much all over red rover.

But what pisses me off is that those mobile missile launchers indicate transponder codes on intended targets, the bastards would have, should have known it was a civil squawk code from a commercial flight.

BTW OC good to to see you are up and about after your surgery :)

Anyone with me in thinking that The Age and SMH articles on "conspiracy" theories about the flight is a red flag to the truth of an engineered event?

    and let's not forget:

    Straight from the book:
Make them laugh at everything and they'll never believe the truth.

(btw the article references 'Before It's News' which is possibly the biggest ratbag furphy site on the internet. Michelle Obama is a Man!!. Alien Giants have landed!. Very convincing source)

Paul Craig Roberts has an interesting post on his blog concerning this:

    Summary makes sense:

I thought exactly the same thing when I read that article. What occurred to me was, that if it was an official Ministry of Truth attempt to ridicule as nonsense anything other than the official narrative (that Putin did it), then what would be most important to observe would be any viable scenarios that were diligently ignored. Sure enough, the theory that the Ukrainians might have attempted a false flag to implicate Russia as a means to solicit increased international support for expanded military operations against the separatists, that very scenario outlined by Paul Craig Roberts, was completely ignored. Conspicuously so, imo.

So, yes, I agree that the article could very well be a blatant attempt to undermine the credibility, through ridicule, of anything other than what is officially prescribed. But I will roll the die on your conspiracy Red Flag and suggest that if this was such an article, it would be very careful what sources of alternate news it promoted. In which case, if both its referenced sources aren't sanctioned sources of controlled disinformation, then the least known of them surely would be.

    one thing about the media.

    Putin's statement was written.

Media shows him talking while "someone" translates.

    He never spoke, just wrote.

Before or after they end up in the hands of the peace loving US authorities?

The childish game of ridicule can be played by anyone. I'll leave you to do it on your own.

I would say an article like this is simply easy money for the journalist involved. He thinks to himself that he can write a story on the more ridiculous theories surrounding the event. All he has to do is trawl a few well-known places on the internet and then "report" on them. It will get attention and traffic. No real work required, just easy money. There are a lot of journalists like that. There's also the fact that less money goes into the industry as a whole these days and so journalists are less inspired in general to do hard work because the rewards mostly aren't there.

    ll,

I find a LOT to ridicule in this world, from peace loving 'jihadists" putting bullets in the back of a victims head, or chopping it off.

Or a "separatist" letting dead bodies rot in a wheat field, or threatening a crash investigator, and a dozen other things, even smart arses trying to score petty points in debates. Some even collecting Passports and wallets and anything else they can get their hands on.

Some even shoot down commercial airliners.

ridicule and dumbed down statements don't equal "debate" :| It equals simplistic pointless statements and communication. Your adding nothing to the debate. Your merely adding a lot of noise.

That was meant to be a Public Affairs Officer? She sounds like shrill simpleton cockatoo repeating the same simple shrill sound bites. Hard to sit though her smirks, smiles and smart a#se commentary.

Abbott is proposing to put 50 Australian Federal Police into the middle of a war zone to secure a crash site.

So, clearly Abbott & Co. would have considered how many dead AFP officers would be acceptable before Australia declares war with someone. I wonder what their risk appetite is for dead AFP officers?

Seems crazy to me, but then again, the Coalition of the Willing seemed crazy also, but that worked out so well. Secured the peace and all that ...
