    Putin has an idea that he misses the USSR except Baltic states of Lithuania, Latvia & Estonia
    Even though they are pressuring Russian speaking people over there, have nazis veterans (SS troops) marching on streets, destroying soviet war monuments, etc.
    If they were not part of EU Putin would annex them before Crimea ... but now he may not and will not touch them (until he wants a war against NATO, which is highly improbable). Hey, it's obvious!

    I know about Lithuania as I have some friends there. After collapse of USSR all republics made those who lived there citizens of new countries. Except Lithuania. They denied Russian people citizenship and took their property (I have friend who lives there, has kind of green card but no citizenship) ... at the time RUssia was too weak to protect them and people were left for their own ... That's the history behind what these guys did to Russian people and why they are scared now ... They are feared they have to pay for what they've done.


    Another city in Ukraine - Kharkov ... they are screaming "Russia!" (Kharkov is a mainland Ukraine, mostly populated by Russians)

    There have been no sactions against RU companies they wont.

    Watch Russia will sell its goods and partner up with China, they dont need the USA, even the Indians ( who are a major buyer of Russian arms ) are backing the Ruskies.

    I hope they do and the US dollar collapse, and the USA economy collapses and they become a backwater has been.

    that would be 2nd only on my wish list to seeing the Russians turn the whole US into an ash cloud/.

    there are no sanctions like CJ is trying to point out. Few people assets frozen overseas and one Russian bank has been cut out of Visa loop, Cant see that affecting economy too much; if its down its due to other reasons and not due to sanctions like article points out
