Hello If you can get 2oz dragons and snakes at the same price what will you choose out of a pure investment perspective? It seems that the Snake is higher priced than the dragon on Ebay and the mintage is much lower. Then on the other hand a dragon might sell quicker. Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Go the snakes. The Dragon is a great coin but double the mintage of the Snake. 118,738 vs 56,133 Prices are on the rise for the 2oz snake.
The dragon is the most popular and wanted lunar....period. You will always find more people attracted to the fire breathing one than a snake.
That's not correct. Heaps of folk disliked the Mouse and the Rabbit...now look at them. 5oz Rabbit had its mintage cut short by Perth and the Snake suffered only because of the Dragon exhaustion (Dragon exhaustion folk sick); if you check the sales figures for the last 2 years the snake is performing better than the Dragon and is the stand-out coin, especially in the 2oz, 5oz, 10oz and Kilo.
dragon mania is over.personally I dont like the snake but yes go with the lower mintage.I would not buy any of them.its series 2 lunar....
Flavour of the month speccy non-silver related question.. i got burned chasing "popular" flavour coin issues so would recommend to not buy unless its all you buy.. tons of f'ing around when it comes time to sell.. as a rule whichever is cheaper.. silver is silver. if the same flip or coin, or just get bullion and go buy some lollies with the difference Sammysilver has the best plan.. focus on one type to stack .. KISS .. dilution sucks and will suck your time hard.. investment vs time-blackhole
