I noticed just recently, that I have a few silver 1oz rabbits. Not being a lunar collector, and I don't know how I got these, got me wondering as to what they are worth.

Can anyone advise if they have a premium over a bullion grade kookaburra, or what they are worth beyond spot?

Sorry, should have mentioned S2. :)

Are the 2oz SII lunar rabbits getting a decent premium, seeing as the PM stopped making them quite a while back?

I'll swap you older kooks or koalas for them if you want to get rid of them.

In short, NO, why? - bullionmoney.com.au is still selling them as a function of spot.

2oz 2011 Lunar Rabbit Perth Mint Silver Coin
$92.53 ------------------------------------------------------------------- Decent price.. indicative of the demand for NON-Dragon products id suggest..

With so much quality investment bullion around right now at good prices.. its fair to say for the next month or so other lunars will be in the shadow (of the Dragon).. You may be able to sell the 2oz Rabbit to someone (at a hefty price) with minimal contacts or no internet connection but the 1 oz is still very much more scarce and in demand.

Things change so dont get disheartend its still well worth holding onto imo.. it may get around $110 us on ebay id say.

Thanks, 1for1. I don't know about the others, but I must say I'm all lunar-ed out now ... time to get back to stacking as close to spot as possible!

Thanks all for the offers, both public and private, however I have decided to sit on them for the moment. With all the interest, they can only but go up!
